Appeal after Goldington Road car crash and assault

Witnesses who may have seen two cars crash and an assault on Goldington Road on Tuesday (20 April) are being asked to contact Bedfordshire Police.

At around 1 pm two cars, a blue Volkswagen 4×4 and a silver Daihatsu Sirion, travelling toward Bedford town centre collided between Elms Farm Industrial Estate and Harvester.

Following the crash, one of the drivers was assaulted by the other driver.

PC Nema Behzadi, investigating the case, said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed this road traffic collision or has any information that can help us understand the circumstances of this incident.

“I would like to ask any motorists who were travelling in the area at the time to review their dashcam footage and check if any of the described vehicles or the assault was captured.”
