A421 now open after collision at junction with A6

traffic jam

The A421 westbound, towards Milton Keynes, was closed today for several hours after an accident at the junction for the A6 near Elstow.

Bedfordshire Police were called at around 11am to reports of a collision between a lorry and a tractor.

A man in his 50s was taken to hospital with minor injuries, another was treated at the scene.

The road was closed to allow for recovery of both vehicles to take place, but has now reopened.
