The Pheasant pub on Kimbolton Road, Bedford is officially reopening tomorrow (Saturday) after an extensive refit by local pub company Wells & Co, and we were given an exclusive first look.

It’s been hailed as the most anticipated Bedford pub opening for many years and has already created a lot of buzz in the local area.

The interior has had a complete transformation, creating a friendly and welcoming appearance inside, with areas sectioned off so people can enjoy a quiet drink or a group gathering.

The garden too has had a complete overhaul, creating what could well be the beer garden of the summer, with tables and covered seating areas, to avoid a sudden change in weather.

Karen Prior, General Manager, welcomed us for lunch with a big smile and told us all about how the staff will be always putting the customer first.

“I’m so pleased that we’re able to welcome back The Pheasant to the people of Bedford and our local community,” she said.

“We know this is a much-loved pub and the team can’t wait to welcome everyone back.”

The Pheasant pub garden will be a summer favourite.
The Pheasant pub garden is sure to be a summer favourite.

A traditional pub menu will be offered, including nibbles and sharers and pub classics, all ready to be washed down with a selection of award-winning beers brewed just down the road by Brewpoint.
