Bedford’s own Tom Grennan is coming home. The platinum-selling artist, who grew up in the town and attended St Thomas More Upper School, has today been announced as a headliner for Bedford Summer Sessions 2026.
He will take to the stage at Bedford Park on Saturday, 4 July 2026, a date now set to be one of the biggest nights Bedford has ever seen.
This will be Tom’s second time headlining Bedford Park, following his unforgettable 2022 show, which, at the time, was the biggest solo performance of his career.
Bedford’s biggest star
He really has gone from local lad to one of Britain’s most successful musicians, celebrating three consecutive UK Number One albums, the most recent being Everywhere I Went Led Me To Where I Didn’t Want To Be, which was released in August.
Over the past year alone, Tom has sold more than 120,000 tickets on his sold-out Grennan ’25 arena tour, cementing his reputation as one of the UK’s most electrifying live performers.
But, through all the success, Bedford has always been home. It’s where he wrote his first songs, played his early gigs, and built the loyal fan base that’s followed him ever since.
Now, he’s coming back for a huge homecoming show that promises to be both a celebration of his journey and a proud moment for the town that shaped him.

Speaking to the Bedford Independent earlier this year, Tom said the record captured everything he’s been through as he’s navigated growing up and the music industry.
He said: “It’s a summary of me being a 21-year-old who didn’t really know what was going on, being thrown into the music industry, making mistakes and learning from them,” he said.
“It’s that whole journey of being 21 to now, really, being 29 and kind of growing up in and around the whole madness.”
