A well-known high street brand has opened a new store in Bedford today (30 April), with “sustainability at its heart”.
Holland & Barrett opened its first store in the UK in 1870 and has added to its 790 stores in the UK and Ireland with a new unit at the Interchange Retail Park, celebrating its opening with a special offer for all customers until 14 May.
The store is located at Holland & Barrett, Unit F2, Interchange Retail Park, Race Meadows Way.
As part of Holland & Barrett’s store transformation programme, the new unit has been refitted using mild steel, which is a 100% recyclable material, along with FSC certified wood.
LED powered lighting has also been designed to be more efficient, reduce energy consumption and cut carbon emissions.
The Holland & Barrett team of experts are all qualified to advise customers and offer personalised support for their wellness goals, which will also include a Women’s Health Coach to offer a deeper level of expertise and confidential support on hormone health.
The store’s new manager, Tracee Starsky, commented: “The team and I can’t wait to launch the new H&B Bedford Interchange store.
“We have a strong, dedicated and knowledgeable team who will be on hand to offer the very best advice and wellness solutions to our customers.

To celebrate the opening, customers can get 20% off in-store until Wednesday 14 May by quoting ‘Bedford Interchange 20’ at the till point.
