A woman had to be taken to hospital on Sunday (1 May) morning after she was robbed and assaulted at a Bedford Hotel.
Police were called to the Travelodge Hotel on Brickhill drive at around 4:30 am on Sunday morning (1 May).
Some of her personal belongings had been taken and she was taken to hospital to be treated for her injuries, witnesses said a trail of blood had been left in one of the rooms.
Police are asking anyone with information to call 101 or get in touch via their crime reporting webpages, quoting 40/24424/22.
A Travelodge spokesperson said: “Travelodge is aware of an alleged incident that took place at Bedford Travelodge over the bank holiday weekend.
“As this matter is subject to a live police investigation, we are unable to comment further at this time.”
