Bedfordshire is home to an all-new light trail set within the stunning grounds of Wrest Park, English Heritage’s 18th-century stately home in Silsoe near Clophill.
From 1 December to 1 January, visitors can expect the unexpected as they immerse themselves in a world of seasonal sparkle, festive cheer and let the spirit of Christmas take over.
Wrest Park’s beautiful grounds will have festive visual surprises around every corner accompanied by festive food and warming cocktails for an enchanted Christmas with family, friends and loved ones.
Internationally renowned and award-winning creative director Katherine Jewkes has worked alongside light art pioneers, Illumaphonium, to bring together a trail of illuminations and installations.
The lighting will complement the already stunning grounds, including the Italian garden, American garden, the English garden, the Chinese Pavilion, and the Orangery.
Illumaphonium’s interactive installation ‘Continuum’, with a trail of 25 mirrored monoliths, will take visitors through a maze of reflection and light, capturing the imaginations of all ages.
