Woman gagged and tied up as men carry out aggravated burglary in Bedford

Police Line

Bedfordshire Police are asking for anyone with information about an aggravated burglary in Bedford on Saturday to contact them.

Three men wearing masks forced their way into a home on Queensbury Close in Queen’s Park just after midnight on 22 December.

They demanded to know where the jewellery and the safe were before threatening the victim with machetes.

After tying her up, gagging her, and covering her head with a pillow case, they searched the property and took rings, phones and cash.

All three men were described as dark skinned and were wearing white masks, white gloves, white hooded tops and black bottoms, possibly with patterns or logos on.

Anyone with any information can contact the police through the force’s online reporting centre or by calling 101, quoting reference 10 of 22 December.

You can also call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
