Things to do in Bedford this October half term

425

As Bedford Borough school children prepare to break up this Friday, we’ve asked the team at Explore Bedford to put together a list of the best family-friendly things to do over half term.

From the Longholme Cafe’s ever-popular walking quiz to theatre shows, a town-centre halloween trail and some spooktacular activities at the Higgins, there’s plenty to do, whatever the weather.

You can check out the full half term roundup on the Explore Bedford website.

“This half term is a great opportunity for families to try something new and discover some amazing places right on our doorstep,” said Explore Bedford’s Charlotte Gorringe.

“If you’re out and about over the holidays, we’d love you to tag #ExploreBedford in your photos and share them on social media.”

Now more than ever, we need your help to fund the Bedford Independent’s quality journalism that serves our community...

We choose to champion editorial independence, meaning we report the facts without bias and can stand up to those in power when we believe it’s needed.

We can give a voice to people in our community whose voices may otherwise not be heard. And we don’t have a paywall, so everyone can read the stories we publish for free.

But in this time of crisis, many news organisations all over the world are facing existential threat, with advertising revenues plummeting. We’re no different.

We work hard every day to bring you news, commentary, entertainment and announcements from across Bedford. We hope that, with your help, we’ll be able to continue this for many years to come.
