Photographers of all ages and abilities are invited to submit their best shots of Harrold-Odell Country Park and the winning entries will be selected for the 2025 calendar.

The theme of the competition is Landscape, Wildlife and People and it is hoped the entries will showcase the stunning landscape, diverse wildlife, and the people who enjoy the park.

The competition is being run by the Friends of Harrold-Odell Country Park, with the support of Harrold Parish Council and the Borough Councillor Ward Fund.

Entries can be submitted now until 20 July 2024.

Photographers – professional and amateur – can submit a maximum of five entries each. No drone photos or AI-generated images are allowed and photos can be up to two years old.

The winning entries will be featured on a professionally designed A3 calendar, available to buy from October 2024.

If you win, you will also receive a cash prize of £50.

Harrold ward councillor, Alison Foster, said: “Harrold-Odell Country Park is a true gem in our borough, and this competition is a fantastic opportunity to capture its magic through the lens.

“I encourage everyone who enjoys visiting the park to get involved.

“Your entry could be featured in next year’s calendar, and all proceeds will go towards supporting the Friends of Harrold-Odell Country Park.”

All entries should be submitted by email to hocpphotocomp@anglernook.com and must include the name of the photographer, date and time the photo was taken paired with a title and brief description for each photo.

Full details on how to enter, including technical specifications, can be found on the Harrold-Odell Country Park website here.
