Tom Grennan’s dad makes a wholesome video asking you to vote in the BRIT Awards

Bedford’s Tom Grennan has been nominated for two BRIT awards this year and you can help him make sure he comes home with at least one of them.

The local singer/songwriter is up for two awards, ‘Song of the Year’ for his international smash hit ‘Little Bit Of Love’, and also ‘Alternative/Rock Act’.

The winner of ‘Alternative/Rock Act’ is chosen by public vote, so you can play your part in showing the world how Bedford is home to one of the most exciting musicians of the moment.

It’s easy to vote for Tom. In fact, it’s so easy Tom even got his dad to do it in a wholesome (and hilarious) video on his Instagram page. (Please note: There are a couple of swears).

As Tom explains to his dad, you simply head to @BRITs on the TikTok app and tap the link to vote. Once there, scroll to the ‘Alternative/Rock Act’ category and then scroll down to find Tom.

You can then vote for him up to 10 times a day, before voting closes at 6pm on Thursday 3 February 2022.

Tom Grennan’s second album ‘Evering Road’ shot straight to Number One in the UK albums charts on its release in March via Insanity Records.

2021 also saw Tom surpass one billion international streams, three million single sales, achieve three consecutive UK Top Ten single releases in ‘Little Bit Of Love’, ‘Let’s Go Home Together’ with Ella Henderson, and ‘By Your Side’ with Calvin Harris.

Since the release of his UK Number One album, Tom has continued to capture the hearts and minds of a generation across the world too.

He made his US TV debut on The Late Late Show with James Corden and gave an unprecedented performance on the Soccer Aid pitch for the world’s biggest charity football match for UNICEF.

That’s alongside major sets on the Reading and Leeds Festival mainstages, a week-long takeover on BBC Radio 1, and a sold-out tour across the UK to over 40,000 fans.

Tom also recently appeared in a new NHS mental health campaign using the iconic Beatles song ‘Help!”.
