To celebrate and to pay tribute to his life, a host of performers will come together at Sharnbrook Mill Theatre to put on a spectacular show that will feature music maestro Lincoln Noel, opera singer Tyler Clarke, the Sharnbrook Community Choir, Julie Futcher, and many more.

Fellow performer and Chairman of Bedford Hospital Charity & Friends, Deborah Inskip, said: “Brian was instrumental in the creation of the Bedford Hospitals Charity in 1988. He then worked tirelessly for the charity, acting as the first Chairman of the Executive Committee, then Chairman of the Trustees of the charity.

“His contribution to us and to so many other people, not to mention to various organisations far and wide, leaves a remarkable legacy.”

Douglas Pope, chairman of Sharnbrook Mill Theatre board of governors, said: “When Brian joined the Sharnbrook Mill Theatre as a Governor, little could any of us have envisaged the impact he would have on our organisation.

“From the moment he took the Chair of our Fundraising Team he led the way to fundraising feats we could only previously have dreamed of.

“He was truly inspirational, led with humility, generosity and above all boundless enthusiasm and we are blessed that we knew him as a member and friend.”

The memorial event promises to showcase a beautifully eclectic mix of music, from jazz to classical, and songs from the shows.

Funds from this event will be shared between Sharnbrook Mill Theatre and Bedford Hospital Charity & Friends.

Tickets are available on the Sharnbrook Mill Theatre website sharnbrookmilltheatre.co.uk and at the box office on 01234 782 474.
