Singer-songwriter, Richard Hawley, will be joining the lineup at Bedford Park this summer to support Paul Weller at his July show.
The highly respected musician began his career in Britpop-faves, The Longpigs, before joining Pulp as their guitarist.
Over the last 20 years, he has gone on to forge an impressive and diverse career, collaborating with the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Manic Street Preachers, Elbow and Mr Weller himself.
His latest album, 2019’s Further, reached number three in the UK album chart and he has two Mercury Music Prize nominations and a BRIT nomination to his name.
As a live performer, Richard has supported R.E.M, Nancy Sinatra and even performed with Elbow at Glastonbury. He has written multiple film scores, created an award-winning musical, produced the Sheffield band Hoggsboy and worked as a session musician for the likes of Jarvis Cocker, All Saints and Hank Marvin.
He is a unique British talent.
Richard takes to the stage ahead of Paul Weller at Bedford Park on 30 July, one of just three outdoor gigs Paul is performing at this summer.
