Levellers will be performing live at the Halloweentown Festival in Bedford this October to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their seminal album, Levelling the Land.
The event will take place at The Great Meadow near Renhold on Sunday 31 October and features special guests Peter Hook & The Light and Dreadzone.
Tickets go on sale at 10am today (Friday) and promoters, Superclub Industries, are anticipating high demand.
During the summer of 1991 Levelling The Land redefined the UK’s musical landscape, featuring hit singles One Way, 15 Years and Far From Home.
The band released a new studio album ‘Peace’ in summer 2020 which entered the UK Official Album Chart at number eight – the band’s highest-charting entry since 1997’s Mouth to Mouth.
Also on the lineup is Perer Hook, co-founder of Joy Division and New Order founder, who keeps the legacy of both of these bands alive through his ‘The Light’ band.
Peter played an integral part in cementing these bands into British music folklore and is now taking centre stage, as he brings their back catalogues back to life. Expect all the classics, and a fresh take on iconic tracks.
The Levellers’ concert will be the final evening of three concerts taking place at Halloweentown Festival, The Great Meadow near Renhold.
Craig David heads up Friday 29 October with his world-renowned TS5 party experience; whilst on Saturday 30 October, Andy C and DJ EZ co-headline the show delivering an unmissable evening of Drum & Bass and garage.
Tickets can be booked via the Halloweentown Festival website.
