Tony Hadley and Sophie Ellis-Bextor headline Secret Summer Ball in Bedford

Tony Hadley and Sophie Ellis-Bextor have today been announced as the headliners for next year’s Secret Summer Ball.

The event will take place on Saturday 25 September in the grounds of Howbury Hall and is the brainchild of Mark Harrison of The Full Effect, the man behind Bedford Park Concerts.

“Having lived in Bedford for some years now, it has always been my vision to bring some of our creative party design and production elements to the town,” explained Mark.

“The Full Effect creates parties all across Europe and I’m thrilled to be able to curate a stylish Ball, that will hopefully go on to become one of the highlights in the regions social calendar.”

The Ball will be housed in The Pinnacle, a bespoke structure in the grounds of Howbury Hall, a private estate on the outskirts of Bedford.

Guests at the Secret Summer Ball will be greeted with a Champagne reception, before being served a four-course gala dinner with pairing wines.

Entertainment will be provided by former Spandau Ballet lead singer, Tony Hadley, chart-topper and coronavirus Kitchen Disco queen, Sophie Ellis-Bextor followed by a surprise guest DJ to end the evening on the dancefloor.

Tickets for The Secret Summer Ball will be on sale this Thursday 10 December and you will be able to secure yours here.
