Cyphers presents a timeless adaptation of Jane Austen’s novel about growing up and getting it all wrong, with their accessible style of multi-rolling casts and fast-paced action.

In 1979, Esme Allen is a well-known West End actress, caught in a changing West End climate that is trying for performers. A visit from her daughter, Amy, with a new boyfriend, Dominic, sets in motion a series of events which only find their shape sixteen years later. Amy’s View is a funny, moving and fascinating play.

Bezna Theatre present Illegalised
Monday 20 May at 7:30pm
Age guidance: 14+
Illegalised, inspired and informed by interviews with migrants, refugees and those seeking asylum, is the first part of a protest cycle, denouncing Britain’s dehumanising of people for power and profit from colonial times to today.

Billy and Bo are best of brothers. They both have big hair. Bird’s Nest Hair!

One day, Bo starts school and Billy has no-one to play with. Suddenly, a magical bird chirps out of his curly, bird’s nest hair. The bird grants him three wishes.

Fidget Theatre brings Billy’s fantastical wishes to life with their trademark wit and warmth, blending imaginative storytelling, puppetry and playful audience interaction. This is an adventurous, playful show for 3-7 year olds and their grown-ups.

Little Soldier Productions present Journey to the Impossible

The year is 1982, and three kids are in trouble. Bored one day, they try to get into their uncle’s mysterious attic and suddenly find themselves opening a door onto a parallel dimension: the city of Vernopolis, where no one has fun anymore. By means of Dip Dabs, walkie-talkies and magical bandanas, you’ll be taken with them through the Improbable and the Unlikely, via the Intriguing and the Unethical, all the way back to where you started – not much older, hardly any wiser, but glad you went.
