This month, we’ve taken our love of Bedford’s independent shops and businesses to its logical conclusion and rewritten The Twelve Days of Christmas as an ode to them.
With just 12 shopping days left, what better time to share the song, beautifully arranged and sung by the wonderful Goldentones and featuring cllr Henry Vann in a Christmas tree hat.
We hope the song gives you some festive shopping inspiration and reminds you of the wealth of small businesses that are at the heart of the town centre.
If all 185,300 adults in Bedford Borough spent just £50 of their Christmas budget with our small businesses, it would put an extra £9.2m into the pockets of Bedford’s indie retailers*.
