Teenagers arrested after Bedford stabbing

Police have arrested two 19-year-old men after another man was stabbed on Foster Street, Bedford yesterday (31 August) morning.

A man in his 20s suffered stab wounds to his legs in an altercation at around 3am.

He was taken to hospital for treatment but his injuries are not life threatening.

The two arrested have been released on police bail.

Detective Constable Luke Williams, from the Bedfordshire Police Crime Investigation Team, said: “We will not tolerate any kind of knife crime and we do all we can to tackle those who use weapons to cause fear or harm to others. 

“I would like to appeal to anyone who has any information that could assist our investigation to get in touch.”
