Power in Discussion to host free ‘Be Informed’ BAME vaccine webinar

A free webinar is taking place this weekend in response to a recent report highlighting that significantly fewer members of the BAME community have opted to take the Covid-19 (coronavirus) vaccination.

The free event, called Be Informed, will take place virtually from 1pm on Saturday 27 February. You can register for the event here.

It has been designed to help people living in Bedfordshire engage in health/wellness conversations with qualified professionals about Covid-19 and the the available vaccines.

Hosted by Bedford’s Power In Discussion, the event features a panel of Black and Asian health professionals, including local medics.

The Be Informed webinar will provide Bedfordshire’s BAME community with unbiased, upfront and uncomplicated answers to ensure all attendees are able to make informed choices about their health in the future.

All attendees are encouraged to submit questions ahead of the day via the eventbrite link to ensure their concerns are fully answered throughout the discussion.
