People who saw a woman seriously injured in a road accident at the junction of Marlborough Road and Winifred Road, Bedford are being asked to contact Bedfordshire Police.
The accident between a pedestrian and a black Audi happened just before 11am last Friday (30 November).
The woman in her 30s was taken to hospital with serious injuries to one of her legs. She is said to be in a serious but stable condition.
PC Chris Leah, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit said: “We are appealing for anyone who was at the junction of Marlborough Road and Winifred Road and may have seen the black Audi in the area prior to the collision to contact us so we can establish what happened.”
