Plans unveiled for development of world-class Keysoe International equestrian centre

Community is at the heart of future plans for Keysoe International, the equestrian centre in North Bedfordshire.

A pre-planning public engagement meeting will be held on Tuesday, 7 November from 2.30pm – 7.30pm to showcase the ‘community, business, learning’ vision for the future.

Set amongst 570 acres of rural countryside, the highly esteemed ‘equestrian centre of excellence’ is putting North Bedfordshire on the map – becoming known around the world for its professional and welcoming environment.

But what sets the centre apart even further, is its desire to strive beyond the world of equestrianism with a mission to involve and bring value to the local community and beyond.

CEO Sarah Stoute shared her vision that Keysoe would become a ‘hearts and minds business’ – existing not for financial gain, but for the benefit of the local community as well as the equestrian and educational sectors.

Sarah and the team are looking forward to welcoming everyone to attend the public meeting on 7 November to discuss the new plans for the site.

“The purpose of this engagement session is to encourage people that live and work in the area and all groups and organisations that form part of the local community to get involved,” said a spokesperson.

“This is an opportunity to share any concerns and ideas you may have and learn more about the future development plans for Keysoe International.

“We believe that it is important for the community to be actively involved in shaping the future of Keysoe International. The planning team, master planners and landscape architects will be on hand to respond to any queries raised and to explain more.”

Tea, coffee, cakes and canapes will be served and there will be plenty of parking available.

The event will take place at The Marquee, Keysoe International. Church Road, Keysoe, MK44 2JP.
