The festival, created in memory of its founder, DJ Rhino Selektor, is a celebration of music, culture and community, all set against the beautiful backdrop of Priory Country Park.

The two-day event promises live music, DJs, street food, family entertainment and plenty of feel-good summer fun.

Saturday’s Original Culture Festival (2pm – 10pm) promises one of its strongest and most diverse line-ups yet, celebrating sound system culture across two stages.

The Rhino Stage features house, garage, R&B and party anthems from acts including Rampage Sound, Saxon Sound System, Donae’O and Sweet Female Attitude.

Meanwhile, the Reggae Matters Stage honours reggae heritage with performances from Luv Injection, King Tubbys, Fatman Sound and Lovebeat Family.

Organisers say the stage celebrates the pioneers and communities behind reggae and sound system culture, while introducing new audiences to an important part of Black British musical heritage.

The fun continues on Sunday with the newly-named Original Family Festival (11am – 7pm), which transforms the park into a family-friendly celebration suitable for all ages.

Visitors can look forward to Bob Marley, ABBA, and Taylor Swift tribute acts, live DJs, children’s entertainment, funfair rides, inflatables, a petting zoo, activity zones and a selection of street food stalls.

The much-loved Be Our Guest Princesses, alongside a range of popular character mascots, will be making appearances throughout the festival.

The perfect day out for all the family.

The weekend has become a highlight of Bedford’s outdoor festival season, showcasing the town as a destination for major events, and this year’s event promises to deliver another memorable weekend.
