Back for its third year, early bird tickets are now on sale for this summer’s Original Culture Festival at Priory Country Park.

The annual celebration of garage, reggae, dancehall, house, grime, RnB, UKG and jungle is taking place on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 August, with Sunday dedicated to the best in soul and jazz.

Organisers Josie Mulé and Fiona Connolly, are putting the finishing touches to Saturday’s lineup and told the Bedford Independent that they will be announcing the headline acts in the next few days.

The event promises two days of “vibes, great music, and food”, with 10,000 visitors expected over the weekend.

And while Saturday is strictly over 18s, Sunday’s line-up – in association with Onyxx Events – is for all the family with the best in soul and jazz, plus family-friendly fairground rides, children’s activities and a chilled-out vibe.

“Each year the event is growing and this year we’ve got more acts than ever,” said Josie.

“Earlybird tickets are already selling well, even before we’ve announced the headliner.”

There’s still a chance to become a festival sponsor and also a charity partner of the event. “If anyone would like to get involved, please do get in touch,” said Josie.
