Missing: Herts Police appeal for help to find Abdul Khaher

Missing Abdul has links to Bedfordshire

Hertfordshire Police are appealing for the public’s help to trace a teenager missing from St Albans who has links to Bedfordshire.

Abdul Khaher, aged 16, was last seen in St Albans on Friday (19 March).

He is described as being 5ft 7ins tall, of slim build, with short black hair.

They believe he may have travelled out of the county and has links to Bedfordshire.

If you have information you can report this by calling 999 immediately if you believe you are with Abdul now or have seen him in the last few moments, by filling out an online reporting form at herts.police.uk/report.

You can also speak to an operator via online web chat at herts.police.uk/contact, or by calling 101 if you have information about where Abdul has been.

Now more than ever, we need your help to fund the Bedford Independent’s quality journalism that serves our community...

We choose to champion editorial independence, meaning we report the facts without bias and can stand up to those in power when we believe it’s needed.

We can give a voice to people in our community whose voices may otherwise not be heard. And we don’t have a paywall, so everyone can read the stories we publish for free.

But in this time of crisis, many news organisations all over the world are facing existential threat, with advertising revenues plummeting. We’re no different.

We work hard every day to bring you news, commentary, entertainment and announcements from across Bedford. We hope that, with your help, we’ll be able to continue this for many years to come.
