Man charged with attempted murder after Alexandra Road stabbing


A Bedford man in his 50s has been charged with attempted murder after a stabbing on Alexandra Road last Saturday (10 October)

He was arrested on Monday (11 October) evening and charged with attempted murder on Tuesday.

He has also been charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.

He has been remanded in custody ahead of a court appearance at Luton Crown Court in November.

Three others were also arrested in connection with the incident.

Two have been bailed and the third has been released under investigation.
