Man dies after serious collision in Kempston


Bedfordshire Police have confirmed a man has died after he was involved in a serious collision between a car and a motorcycle in Kempston last week.

Nylo Markham, 18, of Victoria Road, Bedford is believed to have been the pillion passenger on the motorcycle and was injured seriously in the crash on Bedford Road on 3 January.

Despite receiving ongoing treatment at hospital he has now succumbed to those injuries.

Ryan Glanfield, 27, of Victoria Road, Bedford, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, causing death by taking without owner’s consent, driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance.

He appeared at Luton Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 8 January and has been remanded in custody. He’ll be back in Luton Crown Court on 11 February.
