Man charged with shop robberies across Bedfordshire

Police have charged a man in connection with burglaries at shops across Bedfordshire, including in Harrold, Clapham and Bedford.

Dean Jeffs, 44, of no fixed address, has been charged with six counts of burglary other than dwelling.

It relates to break-ins at shops in Clapham, Harrold, Bedford and Flitwick between 2 and 17 July.

He has been remanded in custody pending a further court appearance.
