Man arrested on suspicion of GBH following town centre altercation

Bedfordshire Police is appealing for information after a man was left with serious injuries following an incident on Saturday (12 February) evening.

Police were called to the area near the Cross Keys pub on Bedford High Street at around 9pm following an altercation between two men, one of whom was left with serious by not life-threatening head injuries.

A man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and has since been released under investigation.

Police are pursuing lines of enquiry, and if anyone was in the area at the time, or has any information, please report online or call 101, quoting reference 404 of 12 February.
