Man arrested following attempted sexual assault by river in Queens Park

Bedfordshire Police have this evening arrested a man after an attempted sexual assault in Queens Park, Bedford.

The incident took place at around 3pm today (16 July) near the river in the Queen’s Park area.

A man pulled his victim into some bushes before she was able to fight him off and escape.

A man in his 20s has been arrested in connection to the offence and remains in police custody.
