It was no surprise to hear a safety notice has been issued relating to the Oasis facility in Bedford.

Fusion has been a total disaster since they took over the sports facilities. And it’s not just the Oasis – the Bunyan Centre is a mess.

Last week no toilets, today, lift out of order, no showers, no hot water, courts were dirty, and half a dozen lights have been out on one court for months.
The facility is a dump and I feel so sorry not only for the users but also the lovely helpful staff who have to work among such squalid conditions.
Fusion needs to be shown the door asap, and the new mayor needs to get a grip and sort out the town’s recreation facilities. People want to exercise – they deserve better.
