Dear editors,

I am speechless in 100 different languages. One of which is an old Anglo-Saxon one.

Read: Council website now available in over 100 languages but BSL for video still in early stages

I thought it might be the 1st of April, not the 1st of March.

Seven different versions of English “…Australian English, American English…” and even “… English English…”

What a complete waste of taxpayers’ money. How does this help social multi-cultural integration? If you do not need to learn the mother tongue of the country you are in, then you can never truly be integrated into that society.

I am all for helping out with those who initially struggle, but you cannot remove entirely the need to learn the language.

Not to forget, there are enough apps around now to translate language for you if that is what you need. Whilst there are much more pressing needs in our community for this money, than this virtue signalling nonsense.
