Love in a Bag Bedford is asking generous Bedfordians to join their latest campaign to donate Easter eggs to some of the Borough’s most vulnerable children and adults.
Since launching last Christmas, the Love in a Bag Bedford project has donated hundreds of bags and care packs to charities and organisations around Bedford.
At the beginning of March, organiser Mel Stratton announced the Easter campaign and has received over 200 chocolate eggs which have been distributed to ten local charity groups.
“We’ve already managed to deliver hundreds of eggs,” said Mel. “It’s made an amazing difference and with just one more week to donate, we’d love to encourage as many people as possible to get involved.”
If you’d like to donate to this egg-cellent project, drop offs can be made at Amorco Transport on Elms Farm Industrial Estate. Love in a Bag Bedford is also collecting toiletries for their men’s and women’s care packs. More details can be found on their Facebook page.
The deadline for Easter egg donations is Friday 5 April.
