King’s coronation provides right royal inspiration for Bedford College hair and beauty show

With a theme of ‘the coronation’, style kings and queens will be heading down the catwalk this May as part of the annual Bedford College Hair and Beauty Show.

Once again, the event will be returning to Bedford Corn Exchange on Thursday 25 May, with a live catwalk show, sponsored by Love Bedford.

The show trendsetting show brings together students studying hair and beauty from Bedford College and is being put together by students from Brooks Hair and Beauty Salon on Bedford High Street.

Students will be able to compete for donated prizes including hundreds of pounds worth of Love Bedford shopping vouchers, a prize of £150 donated by Baker Brothers Jewellers and goodie bags from Bodyshop.

There will also be a competition for the best show-related photo posted on Instagram using the hashtag
#beautifulcareers with a prize of £25 Love Bedford vouchers.

Said Christina Rowe, director of Love Bedford, run by the BedfordBID: “This is always a fun, glamorous highlight of the year.

“Our Chair Samantha Laycock will represent 100s of Bedford businesses on the night and remind the audience that we are always glad to welcome Bedford College staff and students into the town centre.”
