    Job description

    We have a great opportunity based at our Bedford campus for a Supported Employment Coordinator to become a key member of our Foundation Learning department.

    As a Supported Employment Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students through:

    • Brokering and maintaining work placements for students within the Foundation department
    • Brokering paid employment outcomes for students on work based programmes within the department
    • Working in partnership with students, parents/carers and external agencies to support students to gain meaningful long term paid work opportunities

    Our ideal candidates will have able to demonstrate some understanding of the needs of people with learning disabilities in relation to paid employment and good interpersonal skills – able to work in a positive manner with a range of other people, alongside the following qualifications:

    • Able to demonstrate a reasonable standard of education
    • Willingness to participate in further training
    • L2 English and maths
