We are looking for a motivated individual with attention to detail to join our Trauma & Orthopaedic Team.
The post holder should possess excellent interpersonal, organisational and team working skills and be able to work in a calm and methodical manner. Good IT skills are essential and previous experience of working within a healthcare setting would be beneficial but is not essential.
Main duties of the job
- Ensure accurate and timely data collection
- work in a multidisciplinary team with clinical and non-clinical colleagues
- To assist the Spinal team in collecting, generating and communicating outcomes for patients discussed at the multidisciplinary meetings
- To provide regular reports as agreed with clinical and management colleagues
- To contact patients prior to surgery for validation, and update the relevant team with any concerns

Essential criteria
- IT skills and the ability to learn new computer systems. Good general education

- Competence in different soft ware packages including Word, Excel & CRISS (local software package for Imaging
Experience

- Previous office skills in administrative roles.
Desirable criteria
- Previous experience of working in a health care setting.

- Excellent communication skills both oral and written. To liaise with medical staff at various levels.

- Understanding the need of confidentially at all times. Able to work to deadlines on own initiative
