- Job description
You will ensure all areas of the care home are kept clean, using appropriate cleaning processes and in line with health and safety, COSHH and Infection control procedures, and launder and care for residents clothing and all other linens within the home.
You should have good written and verbal communication skills, and an awareness of Infection Control, Health and Safety, and COSH (Control of substances hazardous to health).
The post you are applying for is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. If your application is successful you will be required to declare any spent and unspent convictions, adult cautions (simple or conditional) that are not “protected” as defined by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013 and 2020).
