    Required from September 2021

    Bedford Modern School is an HMC Independent Co-educational Day School located on the outskirts of Bedford. Our facilities are excellent and include a separate Junior School, dedicated Sixth Form building, purpose built Science Centre and extensive sports facilities.

    The School offers a premium education, with a wide and varied curriculum, that is responsive to the needs of pupils and parents, where the intellectual needs of each pupil is given priority.

    We are seeking suitably experienced applicants able to lead, promote and manage the development of curriculum Drama.

    Reporting to the Director of Performing Arts, you will be responsible for the strategic direction of Drama within the school.

    You will have experience of teaching Drama at both GCSE and A Level and have extensive experience of directing productions involving young people.

    The successful applicant will have a genuine love of theatre and performance, the ability to inspire and motivate and a passion for teaching and directing ambitious productions.

    Whilst this post is being offered as full time, we would also consider applicants wishing to work 0.8FTE.
