We are looking for a committed Examinations Officer with a positive ‘can do’ attitude, enthusiasm and a keen eye for detail to be responsible for managing the complete examinations process across all key stages at St Thomas More. You will ensure all processes are strictly adhered to in accordance with Awarding Bodies requirements and supervise our loyal team of invigilators.
For this varied and interesting administrative role you are likely to have two years’ experience working within a school ideally with a good working knowledge of exam procedures coupled with well developed IT/MIS and administrative skills.
You must be able to communicate effectively at all levels, have excellent organisational and planning skills and be able to work to tight deadlines. In return we can offer a friendly and supportive work environment with opportunities to undertake further training as needed.
The post will require some flexibility in working hours to accommodate some early starts/late finishes by prior arrangement at various points in the year, including the exam season and when entries and remarks are being processed.
