The role demands the development and production of innovative, engaging and accessible learning content solutions to meet both live and self-paced learning requirements across a broad range of mediums.

You will work in collaboration with learning designers, team colleagues and academics as required to produce high quality learning materials that improve and enhance the teaching and learning experience at Cranfield. Each post will be ‘embedded’ within one the three schools based on the Cranfield campus – either the School of Management (SoM), School of Aerospace, Transport and Manufacturing (SATM) or the School of Water, Energy and Environment (SWEE).

You will be required to analyse in detail various content requests, explore appropriate solutions, plan and manage your time effectively and deliver content and assets in an efficient and timely manner.

You will have significant relevant work experience working in a client facing environment across a broad range of design mediums. You will need to be able to demonstrate excellent graphic design, video and audio production, digital publication and interactive HTML (H5P) content design skills along with an awareness of the principles and application of learning design. You will be expected to have expert skills and knowledge of the relevant Adobe Creative Cloud applications.

You will need to demonstrate self-confidence and excellent communications skills, which will include the ability to communicate effectively across a broad spectrum of individuals, managerial levels and international cultures together with well-honed design and presentation skills.

A higher education / learning environment background will be a distinct advantage.

At Cranfield we value Diversity and Inclusion. We aim to create and maintain a culture in which everyone can work and study together harmoniously with dignity and respect to realise their full potential.

Our equal opportunities and diversity monitoring has shown that women and minority ethnic groups are currently underrepresented within the university and so we actively encourage applications from eligible candidates from these groups.

We actively consider flexible working options such as part-time, compressed or flexible hours and/or an element of homeworking, and whether a position can be carried out at any of our locations.  We commit to exploring the possibilities for each role. Find out more here.
