Biddenham & Great Denham
Biddenham is an attractive village that combines traditional houses with more modern detached homes.
Home to one of the only village ponds in Bedfordshire, the pond has been conserved since 1986 by the village and home to two rare species – the great crested newt and midwife toad.
The village is served by a pub, community centre and church with a sports pavilion next to cricket/rugby pitches.
Amenities are set to grow due to a new housing development on the outskirts of, which is planned for completion in 2020.
The village has a Catholic primary school – St Joseph’s and St Gregory’s – and Biddenham International School and Sports College which serves not just Biddenham but the west of Bedford.
