Riverside Tennis Club is the host for one of the High Sheriff’s first charity events with a doubles tennis tournament the main event in a bumper day of charity-making activity.
The event is taking place in aid of five charities, Bedford Hospital Charity and Friends, Bedfordshire Crimebeat, the Blues Foundation and Lord’s Taveners as well as Riverside’s own Riverside Disability and Tennis Inclusion Programme.

The tennis competition is one of many sporting and charity events to come hosted by the new High Sheriff, Russell Beard with the aim of raising as much money for various charities as possible.
The doubles tournament will start at 1.30pm on 26th May, and with many local companies already involved, it’s also an ideal time to network and meet other people who help make Bedford tick.

Individuals are also encouraged to enter, and Riverside Tennis Club will endeavour to match you up with other single entrants.
