Schools in Bedford Borough will be breaking up for half term on Friday 14 February and the team at Explore Bedford have put together a roundup of family-friendly things to do.
From kids’ workshops at the Higgins and free fun at Bedfordshire Libraries, to exploring the great outdoors at Shuttleworth, Marston Vale Forest Centre and Wrest Park, there’s plenty to do for children of all ages.
There are family-friendly theatre shows at the Quarry and The Place, plus the Philharmonia is hosting a special Olympic-themed performance at the Bedford Corn Exchange.
You can find the full list on the Explore Bedford website here.
“Once again, we’ve researched the best of what’s on this school holiday, including lots of free activities,” said Explore Bedford’s Charlotte Gorringe.
“We’ve found a great range of things to do – whatever the weather – so you can get out and about and make the most of the week off school.”
