Bedford author and illustrator, David Litchfield, got an unexpected surprise when he found out that his book was being read live on twitter by animated-movie royalty.
Josh Gad, the actor who provides the voice of Olaf the snowman in the blockbuster Frozen films, is taking to Twitter every evening to tell a bedtime story.
“My friend Richard tweeted me to tell me that Olaf had read my book online to entertain kids during the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis,” David told the Bedford Independent.
“He’s reading a different book every night until this thing is over, which is great. I was over the moon that he read the Bear and the Piano.

“His little send-off at the end where he says ‘one day we will all meet again in the forest’ really brought a tear to my eye. What a star!”

We think he’s brilliant as Olaf, but we’re sure he won’t mind us saying his Scottish accent needs a little bit of work…
