Four men have been arrested after a violent disturbance in Bedford in the early hours of this morning (Friday). Police were called to Mill Street just after 4am, where it is believed four men were involved in a fight.
One man was taken to hospital with a stab wound, which is not believed to be life-threatening. Three others were treated for minor injuries.
Arrests made
Two men in their 30s and two men in their 20s have been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.
They remain in police custody for questioning.
Sergeant Luke Williams, from Bedfordshire Police, said: “We recognise that incidents of this nature can cause concern within the community, however we’d like to reassure residents that this is believed to be a contained incident.
“We believe there were other people in the area at the time, and we would urge anyone with any information to get in touch with us.”
