Eagles continue campaign for fourth place play off at Coleshill

Eagles v Coleshill

Bedford Town FC go into their last league game of the season on Saturday, knowing their fourth place finish and play off match at Corby Town on Wednesday evening are all but secured.

This fixture will be one of their furthest away days, travelling up the M6 to Coleshill near Birmingham.

Currently sitting in eighth and ninth in the league and form tables respectively, Coleshill are out of the reckoning for promotion, but also safe from relegation, so it’s up to The Eagles to go and get the three points.

In the reverse fixture, in January, things finished even with Jermaine Osei getting Bedford’s equaliser for a one all draw.

There are currently a few seats available on the supporters club coach for this match, which will leave the Bright Management Eyrie at 11am. For more details, contact 01234 381213.

The club’s annual award night takes place on Friday 3rd May at 8pm, in Maxey’s at The Bright Management Eyrie Stadium. All are welcome to attend and entry is free.

Looking forward to the next campaign, the first of The Eagles’ pre-season friendlies has been announced: on Tuesday 30th July the team will travel to near neighbours Arlesey Town, with a 19:45 kickoff.
