Drugs warrant closes Alexandra Road property

Bedfordshire Police’s community officers have secured a closure order for a property on Alexandra Road following a drugs warrant.

Officers carried out a warrant at the address following reports of drug dealing and anti-social behaviour from nearby residents.

Class A drugs, cash, numerous mobile phones, drug dealing paraphernalia and weapons were found.

As a result, Police were granted a three month closure order at Luton Magistrates Court on Tuesday (25 June).

“This is a direct result of intelligence we received from the community,” said a spokesperson for Bedfordshire Police.

“Please report these things to us and we will take action against the perpetrators and to keep our communities safe.”
