A Kempston man has had stereos, speakers and a TV seized after blasting his neighbours with contnuous noise from early morning to late at night.
Residents of Eastdale Close, Kempston complained to the council back in May this year and a noise abatement notice was issued.
As he failed to reduce the noise he was making, environmental health officers from Bedford Borough Council, assisted by Bedfordshire Police, seized over 30 items of equipment.
Cllr Colleen Atkins, portfolio holder for community safety, regulatory services and housing said: “Nobody should have to suffer from the misery caused by excessive noise because of inconsiderate nuisance neighbours.”
Noise complaints can be made to Bedford Borough Council at their website.
