CCTV images released after assault on Bedford High Street

Slug and Lettuce CCTV

Bedfordshire Police have issued CCTV images of a man they believe can help them with their investigation into an assault at Bedford’s Slug and Lettuce last month.

While the CCTV image is of low quality, it’s hoped that someone may recognise the man police would like to talk to.

A man was assaulted at the high street bar on 30 April at around 1.30am leaving him with serious facial injuries.

Detective Constable David Gordon said: “This was a nasty assault and we believe the man pictured has information which could help our investigation.

“If you know who he is, or if you have any information about the incident, please do get in touch.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Bedfordshire Police on 101 quoting 40/19609/19 or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
