It was launched in 2011 to give a platform to the music, art, culture, food, drink and independent businesses that make Bedford so unique.

Over the years, it has championed the work of local creatives on its cover including Marisa StracciaTalia GilesKatie AllenTabitha MaryCat LaneMique MoriuchiSara SayerDavid LitchfieldTodd RobinsonChristian Webb and Terri Gipson and worked with designers including Kristina BullenAdam Boreham and Emma Lemon to bring the pages to life.

Originally a monthly print publication, the Bedford Clanger is now online only and can be found on the Bedford Independent website.

“It was an absolute pleasure to work with Emma again,” said Clanger founder and editor, Erica Roffe.

“Over the years it’s been a privilege to work with so many members of Bedford’s creative community and an honour to see many of them go onto bigger and better things.

“We look forward to many more years of showcasing the best of Bedford’s cultural scene and proving everyone who says there’s nothing to do in Bedford completely wrong.”
