Can you help Bedford’s Baby Bank find a new home?

A charity providing essential items to struggling families is hoping the Bedford community can help it find a bigger home.

The FACES Baby Bank was set up in 2022 by volunteer Jennie Bayliss and offers nappies, toys, clothes, shoes and school uniform to referred families.

Following its launch, Jennie was immediately inundated with donations from generous Bedfordians.

Unfortunately, this means that the Baby Bank has quickly outgrown its current storage facility and is on the lookout to rent larger premises.

“We’re really hoping that someone, somewhere in Bedford has the space to help us out,” said Jennie.

“It needs to be big enough to store the stock and also accessible so that families can come and collect their items.”

If you know of somewhere suitable, please get in touch with Jennie at FACES by email here.
